I combine a passion for rock climbing and the outdoors with my education in Industrial Product Design to create products for the outdoor gear market under the brand name CARRA. I specialise in modelling both solid and surface bodies in CAD as showcased in my major project and industrial placement.

CARRA TENREC
Failings in existing helmet design has led to climbers not using them as often as they should. This is often down to styling, comfort and the lack of protection from low to mid energy impacts commonly encountered in a fall.
The Carra Tenrec protects the climber against low-mid energy collisions using D3O centred around the “off-centre impact hotspots”. The comfort and looks were improved by rethinking and expanding the range of sizes/fits available to the user. The Tenrec also features an innovative mounting system for accessories such as headtorches and GoPros.
